Stirling Open Doors Weeekend

Visit the Old High School Telescope:

The Observatory in the Highland Hotel will be open on Saturday 15th September as part of the Stirling Open Doors weekend.

Booking is not necessary - just turn up for one of the best views in Stirling !

Start of new season

As the nights start to draw in, we are approaching the start of our autumn season. The first meeting of the new session will be at the Smith Institute on Friday 14th September, at 7:30 pm. All welcome.

Our next session of evening classes starts on the 4th of October. These classes are suitable for beginners, and will involve the opportunity to use the telescope whenever the weather permits. Classes take place in the Highland Hotel on the first Thursday of the month, at 7:00 pm.
