Members Evenings
Members meet on the last Friday of the month (during the winter season) to hold informal discussions. These take place at the Mayfield Community Centre, St. Ninians, Stirling, from 7.30 to 9.30 p.m. - Please note that the Members Evening on February 24th, 2012 will be held at the Highland Hotel due to the Mayfield Centre being unavailable.
Typically the subjects discussed include recent astronomical news and events, details of members observations and photography, reviews of observation equipment and techniques, exchange of infromation and the opportunity to borrow books from the Society library. Any issues related to the High School telescope, evening classes and external activites are usually on the agenda also.
