The Dumbbell Nebula (M27) is a planetary nebula in the constellation Vulpecula, within the Summer Triangle. Approximately 1360 light years from Earth, the nebula is an expanding shell of gas thrown off from a dying star. This event is estimated to have taken place between 10 000 and 15 000 years ago. Imaged with a Dwarf 3 smart telescope.
