A Perseid meteor streaks through Aquila in the early hours of 14 August. A day after the peak, the Perseid meteor shower is still quite active and this meteor was captured passing θ Aquilae. The bright star Altair is visible above and to the right of the meteor, with Delphinus above. Vega and Lyra are towards the upper right of the image.
