A selection of features on the gibbous Moon, two days after First Quarter. This image shows Rupes Recta (the Straight Wall), a curious feature on the south-eastern edge of Mare Nubium. Flanked by two small craters, this straight feature is a geological fault, and is illuminated clearly at First Quarter and (from the other direction) again at Last Quarter.
